Week 1 Continued

Here is my finishing post of week one. One of the crzy games was Auburn vs. Utah St. Utah St. was winning 38-28 with 3 minutes left, but Auburn had a wild comback and ended up winning. Another good game was BYU vs. Ole Miss. BYU was down 3-0 at halftime and 13-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter. BYU finally scored a touchdown and then Kyle Van Noy caused a fumble, picked it up, and scored. Here is the play

Then came the night games. #3 Oregon against #4 LSU was about as good as a Week 1 game as you could get. But LSU's defense killed Oregons offense and they won big. Georgia vs. Boise St. was a pretty good game, but Boise jumped out early and won 35-21.

That pretty much sums up week 1. Make sure to watch Oklahoma St. vs. Arizona in a rematch of last years Alamo Bowl. Arizona is looking for redemption after they got killed 36-10.

College Uniforms: The cool and the wacky

I know I said I would post about the Saturday games, but I just had to throw this post in there. There has been a lot of talk about some of the uniforms for college football. Here are some ones I thought were worth mentioning.

First: Oregon's Nike uniforms are always sweet, but I thought these might be their best ones yet. I love the neon green gloves.

2. Georgia's uniforms were a different style. I loved their helmets, along with the red stripe down the black facemask

3.Oklahoma St's gray uniforms. These just look really cool.Add Video

4.Arizona St's new black uniforms. The Black helmet looks amazing

5. Last is Maryland's State Flag uniforms.I don't really know what to say about them...

See what I mean! More on week 1 tommorow.

Week 1 Buzz

What a week for college football fans everywhere. I don't know where to start! Lets have a look at some of the interesting storylines in college football week 1. First, how about those Wisconsin Badgers! I think they will do very well this year under t
ransfer quarterback Russell Wilson and RBs Montee Ball and James White. Ball scored 4 touchdowns in the game and Wilson passed for 2 touchdowns, along with outrunning defenders in a 46 yard touchdown run just before halftime. Beneath is RB Montee Ball.

The next big game came Friday night, with Baylor and TCU facing each other in a game that was really just an offensive shootout. Robert Griffin III showed that he can step up and make big plays. Here was the highlight video. Please watch, it was an amazing game.

This is Adam Finch posting, not Greg Finch.
I will post more about week 1 tomorrow, but until then, this is what you get. Sorry for only writing about 2 games.
